At present, the Action Against Hunger International Network has over 5,000 members of staff working in over 43 countries worldwide. Professional and motivated individuals are recruited on a constant basis for the posts of Water and Sanitation Engineers.

Qualifications and Requirements
· Candidates are required to have a degree and professional experience in their field.
· Overseas work experience or extensive travel is recommended.
· A minimum working contract of no less than 3 months.
· Experience with a non-governmental organisation is desired.
· Working knowledge of English and French
Personal Profile
Experience: Individuals with demonstratable experience of no less than 3 months in emergency relief situations.
Motivation: Individuals who are committed to humanitarian ideals. Energetic people who are capable of handling stressful work environments, long hours, and can integrate into their local environment and respect indigenous cultures.
Adaptability: Flexible individuals who can quickly adapt to living and working with a team and who can act as team players. Can work within the fluid and constantly changing environment of the field.
Initiative: Can take leadership roles and work autonomously. Able to be self-sufficient and handle problems as they arise.
Professionalism: Must be able to work with a team and local staff in a professional and mature manner. Volunteers must represent Action Against Hunger positively at all times in dealing with local authorities.
